Why I write.
Poetry has always come easy for me. I see a bird, I write. I cry, laugh, think, mourn, rejoice, live…I write. It has taken me a long time to acknowledge the fact that I wear my heart on my sleeve, in my eyes, on the front of my head, and most of all, in my words. They are my vehicle for expression, a manifestation of my inner world, and a language for understanding the world around me. I write because I am.
May this blog be a gift to you, dear reader, wherever you are. Know that you are seen, heard, known, loved. God loves you. May you find something of Him in these words.
